6-foot-8, 368-pound offensive tackle Elijah Vaicona: A highly sought-after recruit with multiple Power Four schools showing interest

Elijah Vaicona: The Answer to USC Football’s Current Needs

Elijah Vaicona, a 6-foot-8, 368-pound offensive tackle from the 2025 class, has received attention from several schools in the West. With scholarship offers from seven former Pac-12 schools, Vaicona is now a highly sought-after recruit. Among these schools, USC has shown significant interest in him, indicating a strong recruiting effort by Josh Henson.

Recently, Vaicona visited Washington’s campus during the Under Armour Next Camp and received an in-person offer from the UW staff. Other schools like Ohio State and USC have also expressed interest in him. In addition to Vaicona, USC has recently offered scholarships to other massive offensive linemen such as Aaron Dunn and Hayden Treter. The Trojans have a preference for larger linemen on their offensive line.

Head coach Lincoln Riley emphasized the need for a larger offensive line to compete for championships, which aligns with Vaicona’s goals. While he aims to make a decision before August, Vaicona may extend his evaluation period to consider new offers as more Power Four schools enter the mix.
