A baby shower was recently held for Shauna McKinney, a special mom-to-be who is currently 34 weeks pregnant and on bed rest for the safety of herself and her baby. Due to her hospital confinement, her doctor and nurses allowed her family to host the shower in the hospital courtyard, where family, friends and church members gathered to celebrate this joyous occasion.
Despite initial fears, McKinney expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from her loved ones, as well as the medical staff at the hospital. This pregnancy marks her first time giving birth in a hospital, as she is already a mother of twins and will soon welcome her third child into the world.
Adventist Health sponsored the event, wishing McKinney and her family a safe and healthy future as they navigate this new chapter in their lives. The baby shower brought together loved ones to celebrate this special moment and offer words of encouragement to McKinney as she continues on her journey towards motherhood.
