Aaron Judge Joins the Ranks of Legendary Yankees in Reaching 80 RBI Before July

Yankees led by Aaron Judge’s historic start as team enters July

Aaron Judge has recently become the third player in Yankees franchise history to reach 80 RBI before July, joining legends Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth. This incredible feat was achieved during a recent game against the Blue Jays, where he hit a two-run homer in a win over Toronto.

Judge’s impressive performance has been praised by both his manager, Aaron Boone, and his teammate, Gleyber Torres. Boone commended Judge for continuously putting himself in conversations alongside Gehrig and Ruth, while Torres highlighted his leadership skills and the team’s ability to feed off of his energy heading into the month of July.

Despite being in contention for the Triple Crown while batting .316 and leading MLB alongside Shohei Ohtani, Judge remains focused on the team’s ultimate goal of winning a championship. He emphasized that individual accolades are not a priority for him or his teammates, as they are all committed to working towards a championship for the Yankees.
