Adapdom Takes Home Finalist Spot in FastLane94 Trailblazer Challenge

The Adapdom company based in Sauk Rapids has been named one of the five finalists in this year’s FastLane94 Trailblazer Challenge, which is being organized by the Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation along with economic development organizations in Brainerd, Fergus Falls, and Moorhead. The competition is open to new companies in west-central Minnesota that have unique products that can help solve problems faced by people in these communities.

Adapdom’s product is a compression support glove that helps alleviate pain from chronic conditions like arthritis, fibromyalgia, or hand and wrist issues. This glove is designed to provide targeted compression to specific areas of the hand and wrist, which helps to reduce inflammation and improve blood flow. By using this glove regularly, individuals can experience less pain and discomfort when performing everyday activities such as typing or cooking.

The other finalists in the competition include Better Greens of Buffalo, FamliCare, Grandpa Jimmy’s Ice Hole Trap, and ModernKind of Zimmerman. Better Greens focuses on cultivating and providing access to ethnic African vegetables for African immigrant communities. FamliCare offers an all-in-one app to support dementia caregivers. Grandpa Jimmy’s Ice Hole Trap has a foot-controlled landing net for ice fishing, and ModernKind has a shampoo powder in a refillable aluminum bottle to reduce plastic waste.

The winner of the competition will also receive a semifinalist spot in the MN Cup hosted by the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Business. The finals will take place on April 11th at ILT Studios inside the Davidson Opera House in downtown St. Cloud. Organizers are hoping for a good turnout for the public event so that people can learn more about these innovative companies and their products firsthand.
