Akira Carson’s Creative Move: Designer Moves Her Business to Downtown Bryan and Looks Towards the Future

Akira Carson, the creative force behind Carson Fashion, is relocating her business to downtown Bryan. Her new studio space, AK Carson Design Studio, is set to open on the second floor of the Parker Astin building on June 1st. Carson expressed her excitement about this new chapter in her life and shared her dreams for the future.

For six years, Carson has been designing clothing and accessories for men, women, and children. Her versatile designs have been featured in various places such as Reed Arena and worn by WNBA player Angel Reese during a game between LSU and Texas A&M in January. The designer attributes her success to her supportive family who played a significant role in designing her new studio space. From hand-painting the floor to helping with various aspects of the business, Carson’s family has been a vital part of her journey.

Looking ahead, Carson is optimistic about the potential for growth and innovation in her work. She plans to showcase her abilities in new and exciting ways by 2024. To learn more about Akira Carson and view more of her designs, visit her website. Copyright 2024 KBTX. All rights reserved.
