Algerian Companies Shine in Tripoli International Fairgrounds: Made in Algeria Exhibition Opens with Support from Minister of Economy and Trade

Economy Minister Hwej launches “Made in Algeria 3” exhibition featuring over 90 companies

The Made in Algeria exhibition kicked off yesterday at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds with the support of the Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohamed Al-Hwej. The event was attended by several dignitaries, including the Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Economy and Trade, Saad Al-Hanish and Nouri Al-Kati, the Ambassador of Algeria to Libya, Suleiman Shanin, representative of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council, Mr. Abdelraouf Abu Habila, and a group of business owners, companies, and participants in the exhibition.

Over 90 Algerian companies from various fields participated in the exhibition that is scheduled to run from 3 to 6 June 2024. In his inauguration speech, Minister Hwej emphasized the importance of cooperation with Algeria and creating opportunities for partnership between the local and Algerian private sectors. He emphasized that his ministry would continue to support initiatives that would facilitate the opening of branches of Algerian companies and accrediting commercial agencies.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, an Economic Salon under the theme “A Platform for Investment and Development” will be held. This event aims to bring together various economic, industrial, and commercial sectors to promote investment cooperation and development opportunities between Libya and Algeria.

The Made in Algeria exhibition serves as a great opportunity for both countries to showcase their products and services while also exploring potential business opportunities. It is hoped that this event will pave the way for greater economic cooperation between Libya and Algeria in future years.
