Apple now categorizes the iPhone X and first-generation AirPods as ‘vintage’ products

Apple has recently updated its list of vintage and obsolete products, which now includes the iPhone X, the first generation of AirPods, and the first HomePod. These products are no longer sold and will soon no longer receive official support from Apple. According to the MacRumors website, Apple’s list of vintage and obsolete products includes items that have been discontinued for more than five years but less than seven years. This means that while these products are still eligible for technical support at Apple stores, they will only receive support for another two years before being completely abandoned by the company.

The iPhone X, released in 2017, was a significant product in Apple’s history as it marked the tenth anniversary of the flagship phone. It introduced new features such as the Face ID facial recognition system and the removal of the Home button.
