Qatar Shipyard Technology Solutions has partnered with Armada Technologies™ to install Passive Air Lubrication Systems (PALS) on vessels. The collaboration aims to enhance vessel energy efficiency, reduce operating costs, and decrease the emission of carbon and other pollutants from ships.
To assist in integrating PALS into vessel designs, Armada will offer technical and commercial support. This includes providing initial efficiency saving estimates and design information for proposed installations. The CEO of Ecochlor, Andrew Marshall, expressed his endorsement of the partnership, emphasizing the positive impact on the marine industry. Ecochlor will serve as the execution partner for the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and will utilize its expertise in global sales, marketing, and engineering to ensure that PALS delivers consistent fuel savings for vessels regardless of type or operating conditions worldwide.
