In the near future, B-Quik is set to open its fourth local store next to the Benny’s car wash on Lee Drive. The new convenience store will feature a 5,000-square-foot space, and it is expected to be operational by the end of the year. The store will be similar to the B-Quik location on Perkins Road, but with added features such as self-service checkouts and an expanded drink cooler. Additionally, there will be six gas pumps available and special discounts offered to members of the Benny’s car wash club.
Guy Hopkins Construction has been hired as the general contractor for the project. When the store is up and running, it is expected that around 30 to 35 employees will be working at the station. If you have noticed a construction site in your area and are curious about what is being built or renovated, feel free to send an email with a picture or location to tboone@theadvocate.com.
