Harry Bortolotti Jr., the younger brother of Badgers redshirt junior running back Grover Bortolotti, has committed to the Wisconsin football program as a preferred walk-on athlete. He is expected to join the program’s class of 2025.
Bortolotti, a native of Whitefish Bay, has experience playing on all three sides of the ball, primarily at running back and defensive back. His versatility as an athlete will be an asset as he competes for a spot on the field at Wisconsin.
The Badgers recruiting staff, led by Pat Lambert (Director of Recruiting) and Max Stienecker (Director of Player Personnel), has already secured 20 verbal commitments for the class of 2025. The Badgers’ class currently ranks 12th in the country by 247Sports. Standout recruits include four-star linebacker Mason Posa from Albuquerque, NM, and four-star offensive lineman Logan Powell from Phoenix, AZ.
This promising group of recruits bodes well for the future of the Badgers football program, and joining his brother in Madison will add a special element to Harry Bortolotti Jr.’s college experience.
