Wisconsin Badgers football team recently offered a scholarship to Keeyshawn Schneider, a 6-foot-0, 175-pound wide receiver from Chattanooga, Tennessee. With six Division 1 offers already under his belt, including from Auburn, Colorado, Kentucky, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Wisconsin.
The Badgers are currently the only Big Ten team to offer him a scholarship but it is expected that more offers will come his way in the near future. This news comes after the Badgers made significant changes to their offense in the past two years under head coach Luke Fickell who brought on offensive coordinator Phil Longo. Longo introduced his “Air Raid” offense from North Carolina but despite not seeing significant passing success in 2023 there is a belief that the Badgers will transition away from their traditional run-heavy offense to a more dynamic approach in the future.
Players like Schneider will be keeping a close eye on Wisconsin’s offensive progression this season as they continue to evolve their offensive strategy. As such, Schneider’s receiving skills could make him a valuable asset to the team if he chooses to accept the offer and commit to playing for the Badgers.
