A New Private High School in Osijek Teaches Students Basic Life Skills and Etiquette

In the heart of eastern Croatia, EdukOS has evolved from a Knowledge Center to a private high school. Founded by Kristijan Šimičić, an economist and private entrepreneur, the school has become the second of its kind in the region. Over 16,000 young people have passed through its doors in the years gone by, with 38 students currently enrolled.

EdukOS is dedicated to developing future leaders and has set high standards for teachers, entrance exams, and performance criteria to ensure quality education. The school offers scholarships and financial assistance to talented and deserving students from underprivileged backgrounds, with entrepreneurs also involved in financing the education of exceptional students. Each classroom is named after a Croatian scientist, creating a unique learning environment.

The school provides household workshops as extracurricular activities, teaching students practical life skills such as cooking, sewing, and etiquette. Innovations at EdukOS include recording lessons in core subjects for students to review at home, reducing the need for extra tutoring.
