James Wood is currently ranked at No. 53 in the outfield rankings. If I trusted Triple-A stats as much as I used to, he would be higher. However, his strikeout rate has improved significantly from Double-A to Triple-A, but the Triple-A strike zone may not be a perfect match for major league success. Still, Wood’s power potential is impressive and he will likely do some running as well.

Heliot Ramos was initially ranked higher but has since been moved down to No. 55 after his exit velocity numbers dropped and his xwOBA decreased in recent weeks. Ramos is in a tough environment for right-handed power in San Francisco and may not be much of a basestealer either, which could limit his overall value moving forward.

Garrett Mitchell has returned from injury but may not see regular playing time due to the Brewers’ decision not to demote an outfielder to make room for him. With Jackson Chourio performing well lately, there are only two spots left open for Mitchell, Sal Frelick, Blake Perkins and Jake Bauers each day. While Mitchell has great fantasy potential among that group, it may not matter much in the short term due to limited playing time opportunities.
