UNICEF and BTS Collaborate on Mental Health Initiative #OnMyMind

BTS and UNICEF are joining hands once again for the #OnMyMind initiative, the latest phase of their Love Myself campaign. This new initiative is focused on supporting and improving the mental health of young people across the world. To kick off #OnMyMind, BTS, Big Hit Entertainment, and UNICEF are inviting individuals to send electronic postcards through the Korean Committee’s UNICEF website. By sharing their stories, challenges, and thoughts, participants can help create a sense of community and support for others who may be facing similar issues.

In 2017, BTS first collaborated with UNICEF on the Love Myself campaign to combat violence and create a safer environment for children and teenagers. The initiative is named after BTS’ album trilogy, and as it approaches its fifth anniversary in 2022, the group released a message to their fan base, ARMY, encouraging them to continue loving themselves and supporting one another in the same way.

During the message, SUGA expressed his joy and pride in seeing the Love Myself message resonate with many people but also acknowledged that some may still struggle with self-love. J-Hope urged fans to reach out and support anyone who needs help loving themselves, emphasizing the importance of spreading hope and positivity. RM concluded the message by thanking fans for their continued support of the Love Myself campaign, which has raised over $6.6 million through ARMY and BTS’ contributions.

The Love Myself campaign has been instrumental in fostering positive energy and creating a supportive community for young people worldwide. Through their partnership with UNICEF, BTS continues to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and teens, promoting mental health and self-love on a global scale.
