This winter sports season, the Frontier Conference recognized 175 student-athletes for their academic achievements. Carroll College stood out among all institutions with 50 of their student-athletes being named Academic All-Conference. Winter sports such as basketball and indoor track and field were included in the recognition.
To qualify for the award, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.25. The fact that Carroll led in the number of student-athletes recognized for their academic achievement speaks to the dedication and hard work put in by these individuals.
Overall, Carroll College’s student-athletes had an impressive department-wide GPA of 3.33 during the fall semester.
