The 2026 World Baseball Classic will once again mark the prestigious event’s second consecutive year at loanDepot Park in Miami, which saw Japan emerge as the world champions in the 2023 tournament. In addition to loanDepot Park, other WBC sites for the 2026 tournament will include Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, Minute Maid Park in Houston, and Tokyo Dome in Japan.

This is not just a victory for baseball fans but also a testament to Miami’s status as a hub for international competition.

Minute Maid Park in Houston will become the ninth MLB stadium to host WBC games, showcasing its excitement and honor in hosting international competition for the first time. It is an honor that no other city has achieved before.

The World Baseball Classic has been held six times since its inauguration, with championship games taking place across various locations such as San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. The Dominican Republic and the United States have also emerged as champions in past tournaments. However, Japan has secured three titles – 2006, 2009, and 2023. It is clear that this event attracts top talent from around the world and provides an opportunity for them to showcase their skills on a global stage.
