Tennessee Lands Defensive Lineman Charles House Commitment with Win Over Georgia

Charles House, a defensive lineman hailing from North Mecklenburg High in Charlotte, North Carolina, has recently committed to the University of Tennessee football team over the University of Georgia. Standing at 6 feet 3 inches and weighing 288 pounds, House is considered a three-star prospect and ranked as the No. 63 defensive lineman and No. 609 player overall in the 2025 class by 247Sports Composite.

House had received numerous scholarship offers from over 20 schools, including big names like Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, South Carolina, Michigan, Miami, and Oregon. Before making his decision on where to play college football, he visited Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee on official visits during consecutive weeks over the summer.

As he enters his senior season at North Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte NC , House has already shown promise on the field. During his sophomore year he recorded an impressive 40 tackles and five sacks . In his junior year , he tallied seven tackles-for-loss and three sacks earning him an all-conference selection . With this commitment to Tennessee , Charles becomes the Vols’13th recruit for their 2025 class .
