Christopher Bell Maintains No. 1 Spot in NASCAR Power Rankings, While Chris Buescher Enters the Rankings after another Top-Five Result

Chicago Race Sets the Stage for NBC Sports NASCAR Power Rankings

The NASCAR Power Rankings remained unchanged last weekend at Nashville Superspeedway. Christopher Bell maintained his position as the No. 1 driver, while Chris Buescher entered the rankings after achieving another top-five result. The series will race on the streets of Chicago this Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

Christopher Bell continued to dominate the rankings despite crashing while leading the race. He has won stages in four of the last six races, accumulated 24 playoff points, and led 28.9% of the laps run in the last six races.

Kyle Larson followed closely behind, with six top 10s in his last eight starts, including two wins and a runner-up finish. Tyler Reddick was frustrated by not being able to pass Joey Logano for the win and finished third at Nashville, achieving five top 10s in the last six races.

Chase Elliott remained consistent with no finish outside the top 20 this season, finishing 18th despite multiple incidents. Denny Hamlin was close to winning twice in overtime but had to pit for fuel and finished 12th.

Ryan Blaney, Chris Buescher, Brad Keselowski, William Byron, and Ross Chastain rounded out the top 10 in the rankings. Buescher has impressed with back-to-back fifth-place finishes and three top-five results in the last four races.

Josh Berry dropped out of the rankings after the latest race at Nashville Superspeedway.
