Minister Vandal to reveal significant funding for clean technology innovation in Alberta

On July 3, 2024, the Honourable Dan Vandal, Minister for PrairiesCan, will announce federal support aimed at helping small and medium-sized businesses in Alberta take advantage of economic opportunities by commercializing and adopting clean technologies and clean energy solutions. This initiative is intended to support innovation in clean technology across the province.

The announcement will be made alongside the Honourable Randy Boissonnault, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development, and Official Languages, as well as other key stakeholders including George Chahal, Jyoti Gondek, Jason Chernow, Michael Mahon, Sean De Vries, and Thomas McArthur. These individuals represent various organizations and government entities involved in advancing clean technology innovation in Alberta.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 10:15 a.m (MT) at the Energy Transition Centre in Calgary. Speakers will share insights and details about the major investment in clean technology innovation and will be available for questions from the media following their remarks.
