Recently, CoinDesk has updated its privacy policy, terms of use, cookies, and do not sell my personal information. CoinDesk is a well-known media outlet that specializes in reporting news within the cryptocurrency industry. Their team of journalists follows strict editorial guidelines to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.

In November 2023, CoinDesk was acquired by the Bullish group, the company behind Bullish, a regulated digital assets exchange. The majority owner of the Bullish group is Block.one, a company that, along with Bullish, has investments in various blockchain and digital asset ventures as well as a significant amount of digital assets such as bitcoin.

Although CoinDesk operates as an independent subsidiary, it maintains an editorial committee to uphold journalistic independence. Employees at CoinDesk may be granted options in the Bullish group as part of their compensation package.
