Colorado Extends Offer to Four-Star Tight End Caleb Tafua, Signaling Future Football Promises”.

Colorado signs highly-rated tight end Caleb Tafua for class of 2026.

In May, Colorado football extended an offer to tight end Caleb Tafua, who is a member of the class of 2026. This move is part of the program’s ongoing search for promising players for the future. Tafua shared the news on his X account.

Tafua, a four-star prospect according to the 247Sports composite ranking, is ranked 10th among tight ends in his class and 24th overall in California. He stands at 6-foot-5 and weighs 220 pounds, making him a formidable athlete with impressive catches and agility on display. In the previous season, he caught 36 passes for 540 yards and eight touchdowns in nine games, according to MaxPreps. Additionally, Tafua plays as a defensive end.

Despite his impressive talent, Colorado’s offer to Tafua was just one of eight that he received in May. He has also received offers from other Big 12 teams and in-state rival Colorado State. As of now, the Buffaloes have not secured any commitments from recruits in the class of 2026, giving Tafua an opportunity to potentially be their first.
