Joachim Sutton (’19) and Olav Molenaar (’22) both earned medals at the World Rowing Cup I in Varese, Italy over the weekend. Molenaar assisted the Netherlands in winning the silver medal in the men’s eight, while Sutton contributed to Denmark’s bronze medal in the men’s pair.
Frederik Breuer, Gennaro di Mauro, and Tim Roth also competed in the event. Breuer raced for Germany in the men’s four and took second in the opening heat to advance to the A final. Despite finishing in fourth place in the final, he was less than one second behind third place.
