Discover the Power of Rewilding Your Soul with Gavin Shwahla at Science Saturday

Gavin Shwahla, a storyteller, filmmaker, and conservationist, will be the featured speaker at this weekend’s Science Saturday. The event is hosted by the Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts and Sciences and will take place at 11 a.m. on Zoom. As the series comes to an end this spring, there are only a couple more Science Saturdays left, including the talks on April 20 and 27. To attend these final sessions, individuals must register in advance.

During his talk, Shwahla will discuss how to “rewild the planet through rewilding your soul.” He will share his journey as a biologist turned filmmaker and photographer and explore his personal experiences with overcoming fear and anxiety to live authentically. Shwahla will also provide examples of how inner healing can positively impact the world around us.

Those attending can expect to deepen their view of nature, appreciate the beauty of life, and realize the power they have to shape the world they desire to live in through rewilding their soul. Science Saturday lectures are limited to 95 people whether attending virtually or in-person. Interested individuals can register at lbifoundation.org/science or through the emails sent by LBIF to subscribers.
