Opportunity to Represent U.S. at 2025 Ice Swimming World Championships – Applications Now Available

The International Ice Swimming Association USA (IISAUSA) has announced the release of the TEAM USA swimmer participation interest request form for the International Ice Swimming Association World Championship 2025 in Molveno, Italy. This event is scheduled to take place from January 13th-19th, 2025. Interested U.S. ice swimmers are encouraged to reply to the Team USA 2025 World Championship Ice Swimmer Interest Form by June 15, 2024 for team consideration.

Ice swimming is a challenging and thrilling sport that requires dedication, skill, and endurance. With the potential for Olympic recognition on the horizon, now is an exciting time for ice swimmers to showcase their abilities on the international stage. The International Ice Swimming Association (IISA) was established in 2009 with the goal of making ice swimming an Olympic sport. The organization currently holds swims in 46 countries and represents 73 countries worldwide. Presently, IISA has a total of 5,480 international swimmer members.

In 2021, IISA USA was launched with a total of 335 ice swimmer members. This demonstrates the growing popularity and interest in ice swimming in the United States.
