Emerging Opportunities: The MEBA Business and Private Aircraft Exhibition 2024 Set to Ignite Global Growth in Aviation Industry

Miba Business Aircraft convenes top leaders in global aviation industry

The MEBA Business and Private Aircraft Exhibition 2024 is set to host a distinguished group of key players in the aviation industry at both regional and global levels, taking place in Dubai from December 10 to 12. This marks the tenth edition of the event and comes on the heels of a significant increase in business aircraft movement at the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project in Dubai South, with an impressive 8% rise in 2023 compared to the previous year.

Dubai’s strong start to the year continued with over 4,600 business aircraft movements recorded in the first quarter of this year. High net worth individuals have been contributing to the sector’s growth, as demonstrated by a remarkable 78% increase in millionaires in the emirate between 2013 and 2023. The exhibition’s tenth edition is expected to attract new exhibitors, reflecting business aviation’s vital role in driving economic growth across regions and globally.

Some of the new exhibitors include Amelia (a subsidiary of Rigord Aviation Group), Integrated Aviation (a Saudi Aramco subsidiary), Skyena, My Sky, and Greenpoint Technologies, a leading business aircraft completion center. The event aims to play a critical role in advancing air transport markets, aligning with the UAE’s efforts to foster international growth in this field. Initiatives such as air taxis set for launch by 2026 according to HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum will contribute significantly to this growth.

A special pavilion dedicated to advanced air transport will showcase electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, offering emerging companies opportunities for innovation and collaboration within business aviation sector. The VISTA event within this exhibition will allow startups to present their technologies directly to industry leaders covering areas such as cryptocurrencies and sustainability alongside electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft.
