Empowering Women: A Discussion on Assertiveness and Collaboration at CC-Women Conference

Women embody empathy, assertiveness, and serve as role models

At the Hotel Regina, Raphaela Vallon-Sattler was invited to speak at another edition of CC-Women. The event began with paying last respects to former Chancellor and Club Cuvée honorary member Brigitte Bierlein, recognizing her extraordinary personality. Panelists Monika Unterholzner, Petra Pinker, Monika Rintersbacher, and Maria Hötschl spoke at the event.

The discussion focused on what women can achieve and how they can assert themselves as managers and experts. Petra Pinker emphasized the importance of setting a credible example and incorporating humor into professional life. Monika Unterholzner stated that assertiveness in leadership positions should be seen as a normal management task, regardless of gender. Monika Rintersbacher stressed the importance of consistency and staying focused on goals. Maria Hötschl advocated for women to have more self-confidence and take on new tasks with courage.

The common theme among the panelists was that limitations based on gender do not exist. Guest of honor Mayor Michael Ludwig and his wife, Irmtraud Rossgatterer, also shared the belief in successful collaboration in mixed teams.
