Texans receiver Nico Collins had a standout third season in his career, racking up 1,297 receiving yards and earning himself a significant new contract. PFT has obtained exclusive details of the contract from a reliable source with knowledge of the terms.

Collins’ contract includes an impressive signing bonus of $17 million, with $9 million payable within 15 days, $4 million paid on or before December 15, 2024, and $4 million paid on or before March 15, 2025. In addition to this, he will receive a fully guaranteed base salary of $1.616 million in 2024 along with a per-game roster bonus of $625,005.

For the following season in 2025, Collins will have a fully guaranteed base salary of $13.5 million along with a per-game roster bonus of $625,005. His base salary for the 2026 season will be $20 million, with $10 million becoming fully guaranteed on the fifth day of the 2025 league year and the remaining $10 million fully guaranteed on the fifth day of the 2026 league year, accompanied by a per-game roster bonus of $625,005.

In addition to his base salary for the next three seasons, Collins will also receive incentives worth up to $750,000 for each season (pro Bowl bonuses included) which is added to his salary at signing time. At signing time alone over two-thirds ($32.116M) of his contract is fully guaranteed and another ten millions becomes fully guaranteed next year followed by another ten millions at end of this contract period that makes his new-money average at around twenty four point two five milions dollars with an average annual payment at about eighteen nine hundred thousands dollars . This means that when his current contract expires after three years he would be twenty seven years old which leaves him open for another significant deal in future .
