A 4th of July celebration is taking place in Panama City on July 4th at 4 p.m. on West Beach Dr. Hosted by Destination Panama City, the event is free and offers a variety of activities for the whole family to enjoy.
Kids can have a blast with marine life touch tanks, sandcastle building stations, and face painting. Adults will be treated to live performances by three different bands, as well as over 40 food trucks and vendors to explore.
The Panama City Fire Department will also be providing grilling safety tips to ensure everyone’s safety during the festivities. Over the years, the festival has become a popular gathering place for the community to come together and celebrate quality time together.
Jennifer Vigil, President & CEO of Destination Panama City, stressed the importance of coming together to honor the nation’s independence. The highlight of the festival is undoubtedly the impressive fireworks display that lasts approximately 20 minutes and starts at 9 p.m., lighting up the sky over the bay.
To make the most of their experience, attendees are encouraged to bring coolers, lawn chairs, and blankets to enjoy all that Destination Panama City has in store for them on this fun-filled day of celebration and community connection.
