Exploring the Future of JMU Men’s Basketball with Xavier Brown and Terrence Edwards: Tracking Player Movement through the Transfer Portal

With the departure of head coach Mark Byington and upcoming graduations, JMU men’s basketball is looking to bolster its roster through the transfer portal.

One key returner for the Dukes is guard Xavier Brown, who has announced he will be coming back for his junior year. Brown had a standout sophomore season and has the potential to be a standout player in the Sun Belt Conference. His scoring ability and defensive energy make him a crucial piece in JMU’s plans for the future.

As of now, there have been no new additions to JMU’s roster through the transfer portal. However, several players have departed from the team, including Terrence Edwards, Jaylen Carey, Raekwon Horton, and Justin Amadi.
