Exploring the Wonders of Norse Atlantic Airways: An Affordable and Cultural Experience

The Experience of Taking a Red-Eye Flight on Budget Norse Atlantic Airways

For my most recent trip, I decided to try a new airline called Norse Atlantic Airways. The cheapest nonstop flight from my local airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), was an eight-hour red-eye flight that cost me $88 for the economy light ticket, plus $75 for a window seat and a $20 fee for airport check-in, bringing my total cost to $183.

Norse Atlantic Airways is a budget airline that launched in 2022 and offers nonstop flights from the US to destinations in Germany, Norway, the UK, France, and Italy. Despite never having heard of the airline before, I decided to give it a try for this trip.

The long overnight flight left me feeling exhausted at the beginning of my trip, making me question if the time saved was worth the fatigue. However, as I traveled further on my journey, I started to appreciate the benefits of international travel and how it can broaden one’s perspective on different cultures and ways of life. Overall, I would recommend giving Norse Atlantic Airways a try for those looking for an affordable option for international travel.
