Summer Camps at Fort Hays State University’s Science and Mathematics Education Institute (SMEI) are a great opportunity for youth in grades four through eight to explore different aspects of science and math through hands-on activities and projects. The camps, which run for four days a week, Monday through Thursday, are filling up quickly and have a maximum of two per student. Each camp has its own unique theme, such as the Main Street Math Camp for grades four through six or the Robot O Rama Camp for grades four and five.
The registration fee for each camp is $70, and the deadline to register is Friday, May 3. To register, contact Cari Rohleder at 785-628-4743 or cbrohleder@fhsu.edu. Additional information and registration brochures can be found at https://www.fhsu.edu/smei/camps/. Register soon before the camps fill up!
