Falcons Strengthen Offensive Line with Andrew Stueber’s Acquisition from Patriots; JaQuae Jackson Waived

Falcons acquire offensive lineman Andrew Stueber from waivers

The Falcons bolstered their offensive line on Tuesday by signing Andrew Stueber off of waivers from the Patriots. Stueber, a seventh-round draft pick from Michigan in 2022, was waived by the Patriots the day before after missing out on his rookie season due to a torn hamstring and spending last year on the practice squad. Despite being drafted, he has yet to play in a regular season game.

Stueber will likely compete for a backup role on the Falcons’ roster this summer as the team fine-tunes their roster. Meanwhile, the team’s transaction report also revealed that wide receiver JaQuae Jackson was waived by the Falcons, indicating further moves by the team to fine-tune their roster.
