Local Business in Fall River Gives Back: Mr. Chen Generously Donates to First Responders

In Fall River, a local restaurant owner recognized the efforts of first responders from various cities and towns by giving back to them. Dominic Chen, the owner of Mr. Chen, cooked 70 trays of food that included rice, lo mein, and some of their popular appetizers and dishes, which were distributed to 8 different cities and towns.

The workers at Mr. Chen’s packed all the food to deliver to stations, surprising the officers with their generosity. Sergeant Moses Pereira from the Fall River Police Department expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support received from Mr. Chen and other local businesses in Fall River. He mentioned how the support from local businesses and residents helps to reinvigorate and motivate them during difficult days.

Pereira appreciated the experience and the positive impact it had on their morale. Chen shared his hope to continue this tradition every year, emphasizing the importance of giving back to those on the front line. He acknowledged the role of community support in his own success and wanted to involve other locals in showing appreciation to first responders.
