Financial Inclusion and Digitalization: Are We Ready to Go All-Digital?

Where do we stand in terms of financial inclusion and digitalization?

For years, there have been efforts to improve financial inclusion in the country. While technology has brought convenience to our lives, there is still a belief that certain activities, such as visiting a bank in person, must continue. The question arises: can all face-to-face transactions and procedures be replaced by digital operations? How are banks adapting to make the experience of those who visit them more efficient?

To answer these questions and more, a webinar titled “Financial Inclusion and Digitalization: Where Are We?” will be broadcast on the Facebook fan page of El Comercio newspaper and its official YouTube channel. Hosted by BCP, the webinar will feature Arturo Johnson, manager of the BCP Service Channels Division, and Bruno Ortiz, a journalist from El Comercio.

During this webinar, viewers will learn about BCP’s commitment to digital transformation through its new generation agencies, which aim to promote financial and digital education among Peruvians. Additionally, new trends in opening financial platforms to more people will be discussed.

Don’t miss this live webinar on Monday, June 24th at 6:00 p.m. on the El Comercio Facebook fan page and YouTube channel. Join the conversation on financial inclusion and digitalization.
