After leaving Barnsley at the end of his contract, Herbie Kane, a former England youth international, has signed a three-year deal with Huddersfield Town. The 25-year-old midfielder joins the club on a free transfer.
During his time at Barnsley, Kane played under Huddersfield’s former manager Michael Duff. Last season, he made 43 League One appearances for Barnsley and scored nine goals.
Kane is excited about joining Huddersfield and said, “I couldn’t be happier to be joining Huddersfield Town at such an exciting time, and I’m really looking forward to the season ahead.” He added that his job now is to work really hard alongside his new teammates in pre-season and do whatever he can once the season starts to ensure they get off to a great start and keep that momentum up across what is always a tough division.
