Michael Penix visits Tuscaloosa and assists Kalen DeBoer in recruiting efforts.

Washington Huskies quarterback Michael Penix concluded his impressive college football career by making an appearance in the College Football Playoff National Championship. Following this accomplishment, Penix was drafted in the first round by the Atlanta Falcons, positioning him to become a rising star in the NFL.

Penix played under DeBoer’s guidance for a total of three seasons – one with the Indiana Hoosiers in 2019 and the last two seasons with the Washington Huskies. Over the weekend, a photo surfaced on social media showing Penix spending time at Coach DeBoer’s new home while visiting the Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa.

Despite never playing for the Crimson Tide, Penix’s loyalty to DeBoer was evident as he assisted the coach during a busy recruiting weekend in Tuscaloosa.
