From ETL Specialist to AI Enthusiast: Meet Krishna, a Dynamic Data Science Graduate Student at CU Boulder

Sai Krishna Sriram, MSc in Data Science

Meet Krishna, a first-year Data Science Graduate student at the University of Colorado Boulder. He is currently working as an Autograder Assistant for the MS-DS team and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the HIRO Group, where he is delving into the world of Robotics.

Before coming to Boulder, Krishna gained professional experience as an Associate Data Engineer at TCS. In this role, he focused on optimizing data pipelines by utilizing efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading techniques. Additionally, he worked at Absolutelabs. as an ETL Developer, where he specialized in designing and executing intricate ETL processes to manage large volumes of data with precision and scalability. Through these experiences, Krishna developed expertise in schema design, data cleansing, and performance tuning to ensure smooth data flow and reliability in critical systems.

When Krishna is not immersed in data analysis or experimenting with robotics, he enjoys staying active by working out, creating art, playing badminton, and engaging in outdoor activities like ice skating and bowling at Connection UMC. He also loves exploring scenic destinations along Boulder Creek and admiring the breathtaking Flatirons. Krishna’s diverse set of interests and skills make him a valuable and dynamic member of any team.
