CSUF’s Pre-Health Postbaccalaureate Program Paves the Way for Health Care Career Opportunities

The Pre-Health Postbaccalaureate Program at Cal State Fullerton is helping students from diverse academic backgrounds become competitive applicants for health care school. With the help of this program, students with bachelor’s degrees in non-science fields are now able to pursue careers in healthcare. Success stories from this program include Manpreet Luthra, who discovered his passion for medicine while serving in the U.S. Army and was accepted into the University of South Carolina School of Medicine-Columbia. Chanel Labasan, who earned her bachelor’s in psychology, also found success through this program and was accepted into Western University through linkage programs offered by CSUF. Evan Chang, who started the program without any prior science or biology classes, was accepted into Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine.
