Stanley P. Goldstein, a business pioneer and mentor, passed away at the age of 89. He played an integral role in the development of CVS Health Corp., which has become a key player in the healthcare industry. In 1996, CVS Health went public with Goldstein serving as its first chairman of the board until 1999. He remained on the board until 2007.
Today, CVS Health headquartered in Woonsocket, RI employs over 300 thousand colleagues including significant numbers of healthcare professionals. The company ranks No.5 on Progressive Grocer’s list of top food and consumables retailers in North America. Goldstein’s legacy continues to influence the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction and excellence in healthcare services.
