The Georgia Department of Public Health is soliciting feedback from the public on the Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant for federal fiscal year 2024. The grant work plan outlines proposed deliverables aimed at enhancing public health services in the state.
To gather input, a virtual public hearing will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024, from 10 am – 11 am. The hearing will provide an opportunity for individuals to participate in several ways. They can join by clicking on the provided link via their computer or mobile device or by phone using the access code and webinar number.
During the hearing, live comments can be submitted, and questions can also be directed to the block grant coordinator via email. Additionally, written comments are welcome and must be received by the date of the public hearing to have a voice in shaping the future of preventive health services in Georgia.
