Graphjet Technology, an innovative graphene and graphite producer founded in 2019 in Malaysia, has announced its participation in the SelectUSA Investment Summit in Washington D.C. On June 24, Aiden Lee, CEO and Co-Founder of Graphjet Technology Sdn. Bhd., will present at the conference and discuss how the company’s patented technology to produce single-layer graphene and artificial graphite from agricultural waste is essential for the critical minerals supply chain in the U.S.
Graphjet’s sustainable production methods utilizing palm kernel shells, a waste agricultural product that is common in Malaysia, set a new shift in the global graphite and graphene supply chain. The company’s patented technology allows it to recycle palm kernel shells generated in the production of palm seed oil into high-quality graphene and graphite products without using any harmful chemicals or solvents. This makes Graphjet’s products environmentally friendly and cost-effective compared to traditional methods of producing these materials.
During his presentation at the SelectUSA Investment Summit, Mr. Lee plans to highlight Graphjet’s innovative technologies, its vision to become a sustainable supplier of a critical material for the green energy transition, and its plans to expand into Nevada. By investing in Graphjet’s technologies and expanding its operations into the U.S., investors can benefit from a growing demand for sustainable and cost-effective graphite and graphene products in various industries such as electronics, batteries, construction materials, and more.
