Gray Stone Day School Ranked Top High School in North Carolina, 801st in the Nation: Achievement Recognized During National Charter Schools Week

Gray Stone Day School recently received recognition as one of the top high schools in the country, ranking 28th in North Carolina and 801st in the nation for the 2024 Best High Schools rankings. The school’s chief administrative officer, Helen Nance, expressed pride in the students and staff for their hard work in achieving this recognition.

U.S. News & World Report collected data on over 17,000 high schools nationwide to create its annual list of top-ranked high schools. Gray Stone ranked in the top 4% of charter schools and was ninth highest in North Carolina, demonstrating consistent excellence over the years. Previously, the school had been ranked 16th in the state in 2023 and ninth in 2022.

The announcement coincided with National Charter Schools Week, which recognized 14 charter schools making the list of the top 50 high schools in North Carolina. Overall, Gray Stone’s recognition highlights its commitment to preparing students for future success through quality education and academic achievement.
