The OSF Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee is currently accepting applications for the 2024 Health Care Scholarship Awards. This year, a total of $4,000 will be given to students in Bureau, Henry, or Stark counties who are interested in pursuing a career in health care. The scholarships are open to recent high school graduates as well as advanced degree candidates with permanent residence in these counties.
To apply for the scholarship, students must be pursuing a career in health care, such as nursing, radiology, laboratory technology, respiratory therapy, physical or occupational therapy, or pre-med. Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence and provide high school or college transcripts as well as details of their volunteering or work experience and any health-related activities they have participated in.
Interested students can obtain an application form from OSF Saint Luke Medical Center or request an electronic copy via email from Samantha Rux at [samantha.l.harkerrux@osfhealthcare.org](mailto:samantha.l.harkerrux@osfhealthcare.org). The completed applications must be submitted by email to Samantha Rux or mailed to OSF HealthCare Saint Luke Medical Center by October 1st. Students must also plan to enroll in a post-secondary institution for a health career field of study.
