Dmitri Gendelman, an advisor to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office, strongly criticized Yerevan’s official decision to recognize Palestine. In a message posted on the Telegram channel, the adviser stated that Armenia’s recognition of the Palestinian state is a reward for terrorists and murderers from groups like Hamas, and will have long-term serious consequences for the relationship between Israel and Armenia.

Armenia announced today that it has recognized Palestine as an independent state. The President of the Palestinian National Administration, Mahmoud Abbas, expressed gratitude towards Armenia for this move.
