Jackie Chan recently turned 70 and reassured his fans about his health after a photo of him with gray hair and a beard caused concerns. He addressed these fears in a post on Instagram, explaining that the look was for a character in his latest movie and not indicative of his actual health status.
The viral photos that sparked concerns were from an event where Chan was on stage holding a microphone and papers. He reassured fans that he is in good health and that his appearance in the photo was simply for a character role.
Chan expressed gratitude for his career in the entertainment industry, which has spanned over 62 years. He mentioned that he loves making movies and appreciates the support of his fans. Last November, Chan was cast in a new Karate Kid movie in which he will play Mr. Han, a kung fu master. This character helped Jaden Smith’s character in Sony’s 2010 Karate Kid remake.
Chan thanked his fans for their continued support throughout his career and expressed excitement about upcoming projects, including the new Karate Kid movie.
