During a recent interview, Foxx revealed that he had asked for an Advil on April 11 last year due to a bad headache but then disappeared for 20 days without any recollection of what happened. He mentioned that his sister and daughter took him to a doctor’s office in Atlanta where he received a cortisone shot. The doctor informed him that there was something wrong with his head, but Foxx did not disclose further details, expressing that he did not want to say it on camera.
Earlier this year, Foxx hinted at opening up about his health crisis in a comedic way during a show called “What Had Happened Was.” In a video update last July, Foxx emotionally spoke about going through a difficult experience that he did not want people to see. His daughter Corinne Foxx had previously announced her father’s hospitalization last April while filming in Atlanta.
