Contemplating Jasprit Bumrah’s Performance in the T20 World Cup 2024

India’s bowler Jasprit Bumrah made a name for himself during the Super Eight phase of the tournament, leading his team to victory and securing the top spot in their group. Over four days and three different grounds, Bumrah took an impressive six wickets for just 49 runs.

Despite Australia scoring heavily from their batsmen, Bumrah’s expertise at the death overs was crucial. His off-cutter in the 17th over led to Travis Head’s dismissal, effectively sealing India’s top-spot finish in the group. Overall, Bumrah’s consistent and impactful performances throughout the tournament made him a standout player and helped lead India to success.
