Katy Perry Makes Surprise Appearance in Fashion-Sports Extravaganza at Vogue World: Paris

On Sunday, June 23, Katy Perry made a surprise appearance at Vogue World: Paris in France. The singer shared behind-the-scenes footage of herself wearing a naked geometric dress with tulle floral embellishments at the Place Vendôme. In an exciting TikTok video, Perry announced that she would be modeling the archival Noir Kei Ninomiya dress for the event.

Perry’s upcoming single, “Woman’s World,” set to be released on July 11, was featured in the video as well. The singer completed her look with lace-up boots, slicked-back hair, rosy lipstick, and matching eye shadow. The event, hosted by Cara Delevingne and celebrating the intersection of fashion and sports, took viewers through the decades starting with the 1920s.

Each decade paid homage to a sport as well as a French designer or fashion house. Perry walked the runway during the 1980s segment, which was a tribute to martial arts. Other celebrities at Vogue World: Paris included Joey King, Sabrina Carpenter, Ashley Graham, Gigi Hadid, and Kendall Jenner.
