Lokomotiv Moscow left back Mario Mitaj is reportedly being eyed by both Lazio and Bologna this summer, with Lazio leading the charge in the pursuit of the 20-year-old. The Italian club is looking to revamp their squad under new head coach Marco Baroni and one of their priorities is to sign a new left back to play alongside Luca Pellegrini.
Lazio has already identified several key targets for the upcoming transfer window, including Fisayo Dele-Bashiru of Hatayspor, Calvin Stengs of Feyenoord, and Loum Tchaouna of Salernitana. They are hoping to finalize some deals shortly after the transfer window opens on July 1st.
Both clubs are closely monitoring Mitaj’s progress as they are interested in signing the talented young player from Lokomotiv Moscow. Mitaj has been part of the Albania squad for the European Championship and recently started in a group stage match against Italy. Both clubs see potential in the young player and are eager to secure his services for the upcoming season.
