A 30-year-old woman who was struck by lightning while cutting vegetables in a field has regained consciousness after two days of emergency treatment. However, she remains in critical condition with burns on her neck in the shape of the necklace she was wearing at the time of the incident. The patient is currently on a ventilator and is being closely monitored by medical staff at Agricultural General Hospital.
Doctors at the hospital consulted with specialists from National Burn Hospital to develop a treatment plan for the patient, who sustained severe burns on her face and chest. The lightning strike occurred while the woman was working in an open field, and she was immediately given first aid by her family before being taken to the hospital for further treatment.
